The restaurant offers authentic Hunan cuisine with adjustable spiciness, suitable for those who enjoy bold flavors. The old ginger chicken soup is rich, and the Pengjia tofu is flavorful, making the overall dishes appetizing and providing great value for money.
The dining environment is comfortable, suitable for company dinners or gatherings of many people, with a good atmosphere.
The service quality is good, the staff is friendly, and they provide boiled water, making the dining experience more comfortable.
Hunan cuisine is mostly spicy, with the spice level adjustable. It's perfect for those who enjoy spicy food, as most dishes are quite flavorful and go well with white rice; they can really enhance your meal.
During lunchtime on weekdays, the business is very good, so it's best to make a reservation. Overall, the prices are quite reasonable, offering great value for money. You leave feeling full without spending too much.
This was my second time dining here, always for company gatherings, as it’s quite cost-effective. The dining environment is also very pleasant, comfortable, and they provide boiled water. The service quality is pretty good. The dishes are all quite tasty 😋, although they may be a bit salty for those who prefer milder flavors. However, if you occasionally want something flavorful, it's a great choice.
The old ginger chicken soup is highly recommended; the broth is rich and not overly salty, the chicken is tender, and the portion is quite generous, plus there are some mushrooms. I also liked the Peng family tofu, which is well-seasoned like braised tofu, with tender tofu and some shredded meat. If you're looking for lighter dishes, I recommend the small fish amaranth.
It was my first time to visit a Hunan restaurant that was praised highly by friends and netizens. I heard that the stir-fried green beans in this restaurant are unparalleledly delicious, so I visited the restaurant and concluded: it is really delicious! I definitely want to recommend it to more people👍👍👍
The best food (five stars)
❤️Dry stir-fried green beans✨
❤️Stinky Tofu✨

The only downside to this meal:
Fried water lotus is really not delicious👎
The water lotus felt a bit too old or had been stored for too long. It was yellow in color, not bright green, not crispy when bitten, and the seasoning was not very fragrant. We didn't finish the entire table. I don’t know why the quality of this dish is so different from other dishes... In short, Shui Lian does not recommend it

People who like heavy flavors should not miss it, salty food is good too
I recommend the stir-fried green beans because I don’t really like the taste of green beans, but this one doesn’t have the bean flavor and goes well with rice.
My favorite is the taro mashed roll. The outer shell is fried very soft and there is a taro mashed stick in the middle. It is a light dessert.
The silver wire roll is quite ordinary and you don’t need to order it.
Reservations are required as there are many people during meal times.
This Chinese restaurant is highly recommended by friends. This time I took my American friends to eat stinky tofu! !
Every dish is above the standard. When I checked out, the price was over 600 per person. I thought it was a great deal and I was very full!
Highly recommend the stir-fried green beans (the best), eggplant sausage, rich sides, and General Tso's chicken...all of them are actually very good!
The spiciness is not too spicy😋
Stinky tofu is really smelly... the kind that totally scares foreigners! But it’s plump, juicy, and full of flavor. I personally appreciate it haha
What was relatively good was the hot and sour potato shreds. I didn’t see it clearly and didn’t know it was a cold dish. I originally wanted to eat it hot, but it lacked the aroma.
A very delicious and comfortable Chinese restaurant, every dish tastes better than expected! However, most of the dishes are spicy, so it is recommended for those who love spicy food!
I highly recommend trying his dried lentils, which are even more amazing than the meat dishes. I have eaten dried lentils from many different restaurants, and this one is the best... In addition, the dishes of white bamboo shoots and pickled pepper eggs are also delicious. Beef with sauerkraut and fried glutinous rice balls are delicious.
