This time, I visited a local sushi restaurant in Hualien!

It is said to be an old store that was quite famous in the past, but recently it seems to have received a flood of negative reviews. 🤣🤣🤣

However, as a local guide, I still had to give it a try with my friends!!!

In terms of dishes, I personally feel the food is above average!
Moreover, the presentation is very extravagant, like a seafood feast, making a grand entrance!
The large plates don’t hold back, and I saw the waiter almost struggling to carry them. 😧😧

The sashimi and seafood also seemed quite fresh.
In terms of food, it shouldn't fall into the category of negative reviews!
After all, it is still an old establishment; if they didn't have the skills, they wouldn't have lasted this long!

On that day, we ordered:
Hand roll 👉 normal performance of fish roe hand roll
Seafood platter 👉 containing sashimi, scallops, jellyfish, and sushi
Overall, the freshness and taste were great, highly recommended!
And each piece of sashimi was thick, truly impressive!

However, the non-seafood dishes like chicken and fried items were just mediocre. 😧

But as we sat at our table, with various dishes coming out one after another,
being able to enjoy such a diverse range of dishes was already quite amazing! 👋👋👋

However, there was a little unpleasant episode that day.
Since our group was quite large, we had already reserved a bigger private room.

Yet upon arrival, we found that the restaurant had arranged for us to be in a slightly smaller room because they had other "higher-class" customers, making us feel quite cramped.

This isn't right!
Did they really underestimate our impressive a Aiyu tribe? 😡😡
Points deducted, this is crucial for the store's credibility!

Another downside was that the service was a bit slow, resulting in us taking a long time to finish our meal.
Though I had heard about this restaurant's reputation: it’s meant to be savored slowly, enjoying a full afternoon of mountain delicacies and seafood while drinking tea, chatting, and leisurely waiting for dishes to be served.

But as someone from fast-paced Taipei, it was still a bit hard to bear. ~~

Overall,
the food is decent,
the service is lacking,
the environment is okay!

To be fair, the ingredients and food are okay!
But I wouldn’t recommend bringing a girl here.

This kind of place is more suitable for a large group of friends to share dishes,
chatting about various gossip while waiting for food,
so as to pass the waiting time.
And if there aren’t enough people,
I think the dining experience wouldn't be that great!

After all, many dishes have large and extravagant portions
to experience what this restaurant is all about.

For two people, the portion sizes are really too little.
You can't try as many varieties.

So!
It’s suitable for a large group of buddies to come,
but not for bringing a girl~ 😂😂😂
