This place is at the Shuanglian Market, and there are quite a lot of people on holidays. There are seats both inside and outside the market, and it is very close to the Ningxia Night Market. The environment is okay, with some market smells; the seating area is relatively clean and bright, and there are utensils and napkins on the table.
Regarding the dishes:
The assorted sushi comes with 5 pieces 🍣 for NT$110. It has fish roe on the outside, but it feels a bit dry, possibly because of the dried meat floss. Overall, it’s average with nothing particularly impressive.
The assorted sashimi costs NT$270 and includes three different types of fish. They provide a large chunk of wasabi, which is great if you love wasabi. The sashimi is fresh and tender, and the fish slices are quite thick.
The Japanese restaurant located at the Shuanglian Market offers fried rice during lunch, but unfortunately, it is not available at dinner time, which is a pity since fried rice is relatively inexpensive.
The stir-fried udon noodles are priced at $100, which is considered cheap for that dish. The overall taste is quite good; the noodles are chewy, and it is well-fried and enjoyable.
The flower sushi costs $130 and tastes pretty good. The texture of the sushi has a lot of layers, and the ingredients feel very rich. Its appearance is also very appealing.
The assorted sashimi is priced at $270 and includes nine pieces of sashimi with four different types. Everything tastes fresh, and they generously provide a large piece of wasabi, which pairs deliciously when dipped in soy sauce.
The restaurant doesn’t have many seats, but there are outdoor seating options. However, the indoor seating is more comfortable due to the air conditioning.
It is located near the Ningxia Night Market.
