The cold noodles and the mixed miso soup have an ordinary flavor, but the meatballs in the miso soup are very flavorful; overall, it's not bad.
The seating in the restaurant is limited, often requiring a wait in line. The environment is quite crowded, and customers need to return their trays themselves, with the tabletop not being very clean.
Due to insufficient staff, please return your trays yourself, the tables are not cleaned promptly, and please settle your bill immediately after ordering.
During meal times, there are a lot of people, so I avoided the busy hours and came early to eat, but I still ended up waiting in line for a little while.
There aren't many seats for dining in. For dine-in, the staff collects payment after they serve the dishes.
I ordered the small cold noodles for $45, which I found to be quite average, just regular cold noodles.
The mixed miso soup was $50, and it included meatballs and an egg. Overall, it tasted pretty good, and the meatballs were very flavorful and delicious.
The staff in the restaurant definitely seemed to be understaffed, so I had to return my own plates, and they didn’t even have time to wipe down the tables.
It is located near Daqiaotou Station, about a 7-minute walk. It is a street vendor. The seats are semi-outdoor with shade. If you have high requirements for a hygienic environment or cool air conditioning, you may want to consider it.
Arriving at 12 noon on Sunday, you can see a lot of people queuing up from a distance; takeout and dine-in are queued separately. The left side facing the vendors is the takeout queue, and the right side is the dine-in queue. Don’t line up on the wrong side. Oh!
We waited in line for about 20 minutes for dine-in. After we were seated, we waited for another 20 minutes before someone took our order. It really took forever.
Let’s talk about the shortcomings first:
The ordering process for dine-in and take-out is very confusing. It took us a long time to sit down, but no waiter helped us order. Instead, the waiter kept asking the take-out people what they wanted to eat. The customers who came in earlier than us also ordered later than us. Look I don’t understand this sequential logic
Let’s talk about the advantages:
Although it was very busy, the store clerk's attitude was quite friendly.
In addition to cold noodles, soups such as miso egg drop seaweed balls are of course indispensable here. There are also rice noodle soup and various black and white cuts.
(ps. Rice noodle soup is actually rice noodle soup. It should also be the signature one. More than half of the customers order this)
Cold noodles (large) $50
Garnished with some cucumber shreds, it tastes full of garlic and sesame paste aroma, and it also has a bit of sourness. I wonder if vinegar is added. It’s very appetizing and perfect for summer~
And the large portion is only $50, which is very filling and has a high CP value!
I chose to add spiciness, but it’s actually not spicy at all and only has a flavor-enhancing effect. People who don’t like spicy food can also try it!
Miso mixed soup $50
This bowl of soup is highly recommended, it’s a huge bowl! There are two tribute balls inside, as well as a lot of egg drop and tofu, and you can also eat a little dried fish, which is delicious and rich~
Fried tofu $25
Seeing that each customer has a lot of black and white cuts on the table, I originally wanted to buy a piece of meat, but it was sold out🥲 Many customers also order fried tofu, the price is relatively cheap, and the taste is not bad, you can order it!
Overall, the food tastes very good and the portions are large. It is a snack bar where you can spend a small amount of money and get a full meal. I originally wanted to give it four stars, but after all, it is a roadside stall and the hygienic conditions are not good. It’s so good, and I don’t understand the ordering logic, so I deducted one star.
Occasionally when I want to eat cold noodles, I still want to visit again, but I might choose a non-meal time to save the time of queuing.
(PS I passed by again at 1:45 pm and found that no one was queuing)
