The meal options are abundant, with XO sauce fried rice that has each grain distinct. The truffle mushroom parmesan risotto is rich in buttery aroma, and the garlic chili spaghetti paired with prime chuck beef is cooked to perfection. The mushroom cream soup is flavorful, and the Spanish tomato curry seafood risotto features shelled shrimp for convenient eating.
The restaurant is located on the 6th floor of Langju Hotel, providing a comfortable environment that does not affect the dining experience even when it is crowded. Residents of Yilan enjoy a 10% discount.
The staff assisted in lifting the elevator restrictions, the beverage bar offered a variety of choices, the service attitude was excellent, the food was served quickly, and overall it was very satisfying.
Today should be my third visit to this restaurant located on the 6th floor of the Langju Boutique Hotel.
There is a parking garage in the basement (B1) where you can park for free. Although it's during the Spring Festival, since it might not be check-in time for guests yet, there are quite a few parking spaces available!
First, take the elevator to the lobby on the 1st floor, and let the lobby staff know you want to go to the restaurant on the 6th floor. They will assist you in overriding the elevator restrictions so you can go directly to the restaurant on the 6th floor.
Once you arrive at the 6th floor, walk straight to the end, and that’s where the restaurant is! (There’s a restroom in the hallway leading to the restaurant.)
Our dining time today is a bit late (1:30 PM). When we entered the restaurant, we found a lot of people. I was initially worried that the service would be slow (because our group was extremely hungry after hiking for three hours!). It turns out, many customers seemed to be finishing their lunch while continuing to drink beverages, eat desserts, and chat.
There are quite a few choices for appetizers, fried items, risottos, pastas, main courses, salads, soups, etc.
After ordering, we can head over to their beverage bar to choose our drinks (if you don’t want to drink, there’s also a water dispenser nearby).
The mushroom cream soup is very rich and aromatic. I usually don't like dishes that are too creamy, but I always order this soup when I come here.
The XO sauce fried rice has a familiar taste the moment you take a bite. Although the menu indicates it’s spicy (I don’t think it's very spicy). The fried rice is well-separated, which is great.
The truffle mushroom parmesan risotto is my favorite dish today. The rich creamy aroma pairs beautifully with the truffles. Normally, I don't eat creamy dishes, yet my top choices here are all cream-based!
The garlic chili pasta paired with prime beef shoulder is cooked perfectly, and the beef has a nice chewiness. The seasoning isn’t overwhelmingly spicy (it’s not the type that is irritating, nor does it have a bitter heat). Friends who enjoy spicy food might want to give it a try.
The Spanish tomato curry seafood risotto had me initially worried about the shrimp being troublesome, but the chef has already prepared it, so you can simply bite into the meat (the shells have been removed). Friends who love bold flavors and worry about dealing with shrimp can order it without concerns.
Today's dessert is the golden sand cheesecake, and the combination of golden sand and cheese is just perfect. It was gone in no time!

This time for the Lunar New Year, I chose to visit this Sunny Restaurant. I didn’t expect to actually find a spot during peak dining hours! It feels like a place that hasn’t been discovered much yet. I had been there once before, and my dining experience was pretty good. Plus, this time the food came out even faster.
This time, I chose the garlic chili pasta paired with prime chuck steak. It wasn't very spicy, but it seemed like there was less beef (I’m not sure if I’m remembering correctly). However, the beef was tender. The soup was quite good, and it happened to be my favorite daily soup. It was a bit better than what I had at the restaurant the day before!
Location: Toucheng Township, Yilan County
Dinner gathering after hiking on the second day of the Lunar New Year
The restaurant on the sixth floor of the Langju Hotel in Toucheng
There are also rooms on the sixth floor, and every time I pass by I think,
If my room were on this floor, I'd be really unlucky
Because it must be very noisy with the restaurant next door 🤣
🌟 Wu Port Silverfish XO Fried Rice (mildly spicy)
Very wok-chi fried rice
Each grain distinct, paired with the crispy silverfish
There are also quite a few side dishes
The mild spice isn’t too hot
The seasoning is delicious 😋
🌟 Truffle Mushroom Parmesan Risotto
Very strong and fragrant truffle flavor
Mushrooms paired with cheese are very rich
The seasoning of the rice is the kind Taiwanese people would love
For me, it was super delicious
But not very Italian-style
It doesn't have that al dente texture
The flavor balance is just right
Very tasty 😋
🌟 Truffle Cream Soup
The cream soup is very rich when ordered alone
The butter flavor is also very strong
There’s a lot of corn and other ingredients
Definitely worth the price
Very delicious 🤣🤣🤣
Every dish is tasty
And the prices are very cheap
The entire restaurant has affordable meals
The best part is the service attitude is great
Drinks can be freely taken,
There’s temple-style black tea, orange juice, water, and other drinks from the coffee machine
Overall, a highly recommended restaurant
If you're in Toucheng and can’t find a restaurant, you might consider this one 👍
