Located on Jin Hua Street, not far from Hsinchu Giant City, "Mifu Qishi" is a small restaurant that specializes in Japanese-style set meals. The overall decor features a warm wooden tone, and the environment is clean and tidy, making it a suitable place to visit when you want a simple yet ceremonial meal.

This time, we ordered "Shrimp Paste Ramen x Gourmet Eel Rice." The portions were quite generous and worth the price. The ramen broth is based on shrimp paste, which is very fragrant but not too salty. The seven-spice powder was a bit excessive, so if you're sensitive to spice, you might want to ask if it can be reduced. The noodles are moderately chewy and have a pleasant texture, and they served three fresh shrimp that maintained their freshness 🦐🦐.

As for the eel rice, it was rather ordinary, but given the price point, it's not bad. The fish was fresh with no fishy odor, paired with a refreshing Japanese soy sauce flavor. Overall, it performed decently but left a good impression.

The "Korean Seafood Pancake" had a crispy texture, although it was a bit greasy. The original flavor was already sufficient, and the accompanying dipping sauce added extra layers of taste.

For drinks, we had "Osmanthus Honey Chrysanthemum Tea," which looked elegant with three red dates and chrysanthemum floating on top. Its taste was refreshing and not overly sweet, making it a great way to end the meal 🌼.

For dessert, we had "Caramel Pudding." The pudding itself was rich and smooth, with a pronounced milky flavor. Overall, it was good, though it felt a bit too milky, and the egg flavor was not very prominent. However, when paired with the slightly sweet and salty fresh cream and the sugar sprinkled on top, it created a rich texture 🍮.

Overall, "Mifu Qishi" is a small restaurant with a wide variety of options, and both the main dishes and desserts meet a certain standard. It's an excellent place to recharge after shopping at Giant City!
