✨ Wànnián Building B1 Classic Queueing Restaurant
✨ Established in 1973, still full of flavor today
✨ Cash only; no service charge

Jin Yuan Pork Ribs was established in 1973. The original trademark was auctioned off due to debts. After legal battles, the restaurants "Jin Yuan Pork Ribs" and "Jin Man Yuan Pork Ribs" in the Ximen shopping district won the case and were able to retain their original names, further proving their classic delicious taste.

【About the Environment】
Jin Yuan Pork Ribs is located on B1 of the Wànnián Building. One unique feature of this restaurant is that, in addition to the flat dining space, there is a small loft area.

The space on the first floor isn’t too large, as it also houses the kitchen, which makes the flow a bit cramped. However, movement mainly occurs during seating and checkout, so it's not a major issue; the distance between tables is adequate, making it a generally comfortable dining environment.

In the loft dining area, there are mostly small tables, with limited and tightly arranged seating, which can feel a bit uncomfortable. (Especially since takeout bags and napkins might end up above someone’s head XD) Additionally, the recommended number of people per table is about four; going over four can be a bit cramped.

【About the Dishes】

The fried pork ribs use thick pork chops, featuring a crispy outer layer and tender inside due to the light batter frying. You can also experience the rich flavor of the marinated meat and the classic aroma of black pepper.
Main dishes are served separately from rice to prevent the ribs from becoming soggy due to the sauce.
The rice is paired with cabbage, tofu, and pickled vegetables, drizzled with a bit of braising sauce, resulting in a rich overall flavor.
Every meal comes with a complimentary bowl of seaweed egg drop soup, which is also a good choice to cut through the greasiness.

【About the Service】

Although it's an old establishment and a popular queueing spot, the service attitude is friendly, with staff maintaining smiles and proactively greeting customers even while busy.
You can tell from the kitchen that the dishes are almost all prepared fresh to order, but the overall serving speed is quick, and the service flow is smooth. Even during peak dining hours, the table turnover is fast, allowing customers to enjoy their meals promptly.
