The meal includes spicy stir-fried pork, signature beef short ribs, and seafood pancakes. The spicy stir-fried pork and beef short ribs taste great, especially the beef short ribs, which are very tender. The side dishes are diverse and delicious, but the seafood pancakes are a bit soft and not as satisfying as expected.
The restaurant environment is spacious, with moderate seating distance, creating a comfortable dining atmosphere.
The staff are friendly and attentive, often coming to refill side dishes, and the food is served quickly.
Taipei has a very famous Korean cuisine restaurant, and this time we visited the flagship branch, Tanmei. The interior is spacious, with seating that isn't too cramped, and the staff is friendly, frequently coming by to refill lettuce and side dishes.
This time the dishes included spicy stir-fried pork, the signature traditional flavored beef short ribs, and seafood pancakes.
After ordering, we were first served a starter of tomatoes with pineapple and apples, followed by lettuce, raw garlic, dipping sauces, and many side dishes. The dishes were served quickly; before long, the spicy stir-fried pork arrived, and it had a generous portion. Almost all the side dishes tasted good, and I found them perfect for pairing with rice, so I ordered a bowl of rice and some beer. The beef short ribs that came later were very tasty and tender, and wrapping them in lettuce was delicious. The only dish I wasn't as fond of was the seafood pancake; the pancakes here contain egg, while I personally prefer them without egg for a crisper texture. Here, the pancake was a bit on the soft side due to the egg.
Afterward, we had dessert ice cream, and overall, the experience was great. I would consider coming back for future gatherings.
