The restaurant offers a variety of soup bases and meat options. The sukiyaki soup base is sweet at first but becomes salty later on. The Wagyu beef has rich marbling and melts in your mouth. In the pork platter, the golden Matsusaka pork has a slight odor, which affects the overall experience.
The environment is comfortable, with a storage basket next to the seats, making it suitable for slowly enjoying a diverse hot pot experience.
The service is sometimes not timely, and there are occasions when orders may be missed, but providing a basket for belongings to prevent them from picking up odors is thoughtful.
The meal has two price options: $1580 and $2280. We chose the $1580 plan~

🧸 Service Anecdote
Service felt a bit inconsistent. When the shrimp was served, I waited for someone to help peel it. Just as I was about to do it myself, a server suddenly appeared. Some of the dishes we ordered never made it to our table; given that you can only order every 15 minutes, it was a slight disappointing experience.
🔅 Dining time is 120 minutes, with orders every 15 minutes.
🔅 There are storage baskets (with lids) beside the seats to prevent things from picking up odors, which is quite thoughtful.
🥩 Extreme Crane Wagyu Hotpot (Flagship Store)
🏠 5, Lane 91, Section 4, Ren'ai Road, Daan District, Taipei City
🕰️ 11:30–14:30, 17:00–22:30
⏱️ Dining time is limited to 120 minutes, and you can only order once every 15 minutes. The process is designed to focus on control, which often disrupts the rhythm as you can’t order the next dish until you finish the previous one.
💸 We chose the highest price option at $2280, plus an extra $300 to upgrade to an all-you-can-eat New York Strip and Alaskan King Crab option. The meat quality is consistent, the New York Strip has incredible marbling, and with one bite, the rich flavor bursts out; the sirloin is also outstanding, and the Iberico pork is perfectly tender, making it worthy of reordering 🐷
🦞 The Boston lobster offered sounds luxurious, but unfortunately, the meat is a bit loose and lacks a firm texture, which is a bit disappointing. The Alaskan King Crab is sweet enough, but it’s quite labor-intensive to deal with... my mouth is busy and my hands are even busier, which slows down my pace of attacking the main meat selections 🦀💦
🦐 The shrimp from Kendo Island are large and bouncy, which is satisfying to eat, and there’s someone to help peel them, which is very thoughtful and greatly reduces the time spent being flustered 👏
🪑 The environment and atmosphere are great, and the seating is comfortable with stable service. However, if you’re looking to eat aggressively, the pacing of the dishes may feel a bit slow; it's more suitable for a high-end meat tasting experience where you can enjoy the hotpot leisurely.
All-you-can-eat premium Wagyu, but I find the seafood more satisfying
This all-you-can-eat hot pot has two price tiers: $1580 and $2280, plus a service charge.
We chose the Premium All-You-Can-Eat for $1580.
For the soup base, we selected two kinds: Sukiyaki and Kombu.
👍 Both soup bases are not too heavy or greasy (after all, you want to pair it with Wagyu...).
You also get a basic vegetable platter.
👍 The vegetables cooked in the kombu broth are very fresh and sweet.
Salmon Roe and Wagyu Rice Bowl
If it weren't for wanting to save room for other dishes, I would have really wanted to order another bowl.
👍 The Wagyu didn't particularly amaze me; instead, the supporting role of the scallion sauce combined with the salmon roe created a fresh and salty flavor that mixed well with the rice without being overly salty - surprisingly harmonious and delicious.
Seafood
👍 Shrimp, scallops, oysters, and snapper were all very fresh.
🥹 My friend with the clams said a few had sand that wasn’t cleaned out properly.
🥹 My friend said the shrimp paste felt a bit powdery.
A5 Wagyu
Actually, Wagyu itself is incredibly rich in fat and is quite stunning at first, but it can't hold that level forever.
➡️ If you like the texture of meat, you can order the marbled Wagyu or lean Wagyu.
➡️ If you're not afraid of rich flavors, you can try the snowflake Wagyu (but the three of us ordered once and couldn't finish it... it was loaded with fat).
Other Meats
➡️ My friend and sister recommended Japanese F1 domestic beef - the monk's head, and the American Angus black beef short rib.
➡️ For pork lovers, they highly recommend Matsusaka pork, 👍 which is not greasy like Wagyu and is bouncy and tender, making it easy to eat.
Kobe Red Wine Wagyu
Since one friend was celebrating their birthday, the restaurant generously treated us to a plate to try. It has a creamier taste and higher fat content than other Wagyu, making the first bite a delight.
Drinks
The restaurant has a wide variety of alcoholic beverages, but they are charged separately.
👍 There is a rich selection of drinks ranging from hot coffee, milk tea, soy milk, iced drinks, smoothies, juices to canned sodas.
👍 The signature milk tea and mixed fruit juice are not overly sweet.
Desserts
There is chocolate cone ice cream, with various crunchy toppings and marshmallows available for self-adding, but the highlight is the honey ice cream.
👍 It’s made with honey milk that collaborates with local farmers, full of honey aroma. Eating it alone is quite sweet, but when paired with the matcha powder beside it, the sweetness is balanced out and it pairs perfectly! Highly recommend!
✔️ We made a reservation for 5:30 PM; we were the first group of customers, and later around three more groups came in (one couple and two larger groups).
✔️ Ordering is done via a QR code, and payment is settled at the counter after the meal (the candy at the counter is really delicious 👍).
✔️ Each round allows a maximum of 12 items (you can order only 5 types of meat).
✔️ No matter how many people there are, just order one portion, and the restaurant will adjust the quantity according to the number of people; if you need more or less, just note it down.
✔️ You can only place your next order after 15 minutes.
✔️ Dining time is 90 minutes, with a reminder for the last order in the last half hour.
✔️ Service is very attentive; even if you order the same meats as the previous batch, they will repeat the boiling method (and my sister thinks the staff are quite stylish, offering a feast for both the eyes in terms of food and people).
✔️ The birthday person can choose between a 10% discount or one lobster; we chose a 10% discount for the whole table.
✔️ On a side note: There’s a parking lot nearby 🅿️ which charges 80 yuan for an hour, super expensive, but it seriously sells the skill... they valet park, and watching them navigate that narrow alley into a slope so steep you could tumble down validates the high charge.
