The meal has two price options: $1580 and $2280. We chose the $1580 plan~

🔹 Broths

  • Japanese Sukiyaki: The sukiyaki broth is on the sweeter side, and it pairs well with thinly sliced beef. However, it becomes quite salty towards the end; we only added kombu broth when we needed more broth, but it was still salty. Water would have been a better addition~
  • Imperial Flower Shaoxing Chicken: The broth has a subtle wine aroma and contains whole pieces of chicken; the flavor is rich.
  • Hainan Coconut Chicken (limited): The broth is quite refreshing, with a mild flavor that takes some getting used to~ We ended up not using this hot pot much later on.
  • Sichuan Spicy: I personally don't eat spicy food, but my friend said it’s not overwhelmingly spicy and suitable for those who can handle a little spice.

🔸 Beef Platter

  • Japanese Domestic Beef and Sirloin: Low in fat, with a chewy texture.
  • A5 Japanese Wagyu Lean Cut: The meat is delicate, with a faint meaty aroma that is refreshing and not as oily as other meats.
  • Australian Wagyu Marbled: The marbling is even, with a thick texture, making it quite chewy.
  • Japanese Wagyu Snowflake: Rich in fat, it melts in your mouth, providing a delightful guilty pleasure; cooked medium-rare, it’s incredibly delicious!!! I particularly enjoy the marbled and snowflake beef due to the higher fat content.

🔹 Pork Platter

  • Tomatodeng Keshe Pig Belly: The meat is chewy, with the perfect fat-to-lean ratio, and a hint of sweetness.
  • Golden Matsusaka Pork: The crispy texture adds points, but I noticed a strong pork odor when eating, so I only had the first plate and didn’t order more later. When the staff inquired about our meal later, I mentioned this issue, but they only said they would check with the kitchen, and nothing more came of it.
  • Spanish Iberian Pork: The meat has a rich aroma and becomes more flavorful as you chew, giving a bit of a high-end ham feeling.

🔸 Others

  • Salmon Roe and Beef Donburi: The beef aroma is strong enough, and the salmon roe helps balance out the richness.
  • Honeydew Milk Ice: The flavor of honey is strong and quite sweet, but with some matcha powder on the side, it helps balance the sweetness.
  • The ice cream machine has Thai milk tea flavor, which I personally do not like as it tastes artificial.

🧸 Service Anecdote
Service felt a bit inconsistent. When the shrimp was served, I waited for someone to help peel it. Just as I was about to do it myself, a server suddenly appeared. Some of the dishes we ordered never made it to our table; given that you can only order every 15 minutes, it was a slight disappointing experience.

🔅 Dining time is 120 minutes, with orders every 15 minutes.
🔅 There are storage baskets (with lids) beside the seats to prevent things from picking up odors, which is quite thoughtful.
