I was fortunate enough to dine at Jin Peng Lai!

On the day I remember eating
signature dishes like crispy pork ribs, crispy duck, and free-range chicken –
the crispy duck, of course, is the signature dish – delicious and distinctive.
The skin is crispy and paired with the accompanying sauces, it's great!
Moreover, the whole duck is quite big,
offering a different flavor than the duck at Yi Palace.

But the most impressive dishes that day
were probably the mullet roe fried rice, sea urchin noodles, and taro rolls!
Actually, each dish has its own uniqueness and tastes great.

However, the sea urchin noodles really captured my taste buds that day!
Additionally, the final taro roll made for a perfect ending.

As for the environment and ambiance,
we had a lot of people that day,
so we booked a private room.
The overall space is fairly spacious and not particularly cramped.

However, this restaurant is quite difficult to reserve.
It’s best to book at least a month in advance,
and a deposit is required!

This place is perfect for a gathering with friends or family for a meal.
The only downside might be the inconvenient transportation.

Tianmu really is the top of the top in Taipei!!

There are actually quite a few Taiwanese cuisine restaurants in Taipei!
But it’s hard to find a variety of dishes for a date with a girl!

Why don’t we set this place as a great spot to meet the parents?
Invite the girl’s parents and close friends,
to meet at such a famous Michelin restaurant.

With a variety of definitely delicious dishes,
it’s enjoyable for all ages, and everyone can eat happily.

I’m sure as the girl sees you interacting harmoniously with her family and friends,
her feelings for you will definitely go up, up, up!!!

A classic Taiwanese restaurant that has received one Michelin star for many years in a row
This is an important family dinner and we booked a private room.
Booked in advance for 16,800 for a table of 10 people, 330 extra for one more person
Every dish is truly wonderful and the presentation is on par.
The fried prawns and crispy pork ribs are the signature dishes, just order them.
Among them, the most surprising ones are Buddha Jumping Over the Wall and Seasonal Vegetables.
The soup of Fo Tiao Qiang is very clear but rich in flavor (not as mushy as adding taro), the basic pork ribs are crispy with bird's eggs, and there are also good ingredients such as fish skin and pork belly.
The seasonal vegetables are similar to sweet potato leaves in soup stock, with preserved eggs, fried trout, and whole garlic. It tastes great. The sweet potato leaves are very tender and taste great when paired with the fried fish. It’s hard to imagine that this dish can be like this. tasty!
To sum up, it is a very good experience. It can be considered for important dinner gatherings. If it is not for the private room, it is really noisy~
