This time, while casually wandering around the Shuixian Palace Market, I unexpectedly discovered a hidden stall called "Jiqing Hang." It’s not the kind of hot food shop that catches your eye at first glance, nor is it a booth where you can sit down and eat on the spot. It’s more like a place that specializes in selling items to take home from the morning market. The stall has a variety of cookies, pastries, puddings, and foods like dumplings, taking a practical and nostalgic approach.

I hadn't originally planned to buy anything, but when I saw baskets of crystal dumplings in front of me, their translucent skins looked shiny and appetizing, so I impulsively decided to buy one to try. The skin of this crystal dumpling is indeed very elastic and has a bit of bounce to it, reminiscent of familiar rice-based snacks, leaning towards a traditional Taiwanese flavor. The filling is savory with a hint of sweetness, containing shredded meat, some finely chopped vegetables, and seasoning; the overall taste is simple yet very enjoyable.

Although Jiqing Hang is not a famous shop that tourists would specifically seek out, if you happen to be passing through the Shuixian Palace Market, it's worth paying attention to this stall quietly tucked away in the corner. Some traditional snacks unexpectedly evoke a sense of warmth and familiarity.
