The Raohe Street Tourist Night Market in Songshan District is filled with various types of vendors and shops. Today’s Braised Beef Noodles and Offal Soup is located on the side of Piantayou Road in the Raohe Street Night Market. There are two versions of the address, but because it is actually in the center of the night market There is no certain right or wrong for street vendors.
The store was selected to be recommended by Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2019, but it was not selected until 2023, which is a rare honor.
What we enjoyed today were braised beef noodles and beef offal soup, which happen to be the two signature dishes, and the price is 250 yuan.
Braised beef noodles:
The noodles are ordinary Yangchun noodle-style white noodles. The taste is quite ordinary, and the soup is not bad. You can taste the soup base that has been cooked for a long time.
The beef portion is of a decent size and tastes pretty good.
Beef Offal Soup:
After using the nine-story pagoda to remove the fishy smell and improve the flavor, the soup tastes quite sweet.
The offal is fairly clean and tastes tender and chewy.
After all, it is an open-air vendor type in the middle of a night market, so the environment is a bit hard to describe.
The sauerkraut is pretty good, and you can taste the care put into the chili.
Overall, there are thousands of beef noodles in Taipei. It’s not that this restaurant is not good, but relatively speaking, I can’t understand Bibendum’s idea, although Bibendum seems to recommend dry noodles and side dishes. .
After hesitating for a long time, I finally chose two stars.
Maybe when I really get the chance, I'll try the dry noodles and side dishes.
