The chain bento shop has arrived in Pingtung - Mi Bao Bento, Guangdong Branch. Every time I pass by, there are people lined up, so this time I wasn't sure what to have for lunch, so I decided to buy one and give it a try.

The authentic Chishang bento costs 80, served in a wooden square box, which really gives off that Chishang bento feeling. It has lean meat, fried pork cutlet, braised egg, sausage, and some greens. The ingredients fill the entire bento, making it look very abundant. The rice has a nice chewy texture, the vegetable stems are a bit tough, and the meat cutlet has a layer of fat, but overall it's quite good and I would be willing to buy it again.

The fried chicken cutlet bento originally costs 90 but was on special for 79 that day. Unfortunately, the chicken cutlet wasn’t what I had imagined; their chicken cutlet is boneless, which takes away some flavor. The other side dishes are about the same.
