The dishes are very creative, the steak brunch platter is cooked to an acceptable level, the meat quality is average, the layered cake for dessert has distinct layers but is on the sweeter side, and drinks need to be ordered separately. Overall, the cost-performance ratio is slightly low.
The decor is suitable for photography, the space is spacious and bright, the atmosphere is lively, making it great for gatherings or enjoying a leisurely brunch.
The staff was friendly and attentive. Although the restaurant was fully booked that day, they were still able to provide a good dining experience, making one feel at home.
The "Spring Three Mornings and Five Afternoons Brunch Shop" in Taichung has always been known for its decoration and popularity. After dining there this time, my overall experience felt rather neutral. The interior space is spacious and bright, with a hint of design flair, making it suitable for taking photos and gathering for meals. During the dining hours, there were quite a few people, creating a lively atmosphere.
This time, I ordered the steak brunch platter. Although I forgot to take pictures, the main dish was paired with typical brunch sides. The steak was cooked adequately, but the meat quality was average, lacking anything particularly impressive. Overall, the flavor was a safe choice—nothing to complain about, but it also didn't leave a deep impression. The portion size was adequate for a normal appetite, but given the price, the feeling of fullness was somewhat lacking.
For dessert, I chose the mille-feuille, which had distinct layers and a delicate texture, though it was on the sweeter side. The black tea was ordinary, with no standout tea flavor, serving more as a thirst quencher. It was a pity that the brunch platter did not include drinks, which needed to be ordered separately, making the overall bill easily add up.
In summary, the dishes at Spring Three Mornings and Five Afternoons were relatively stable in performance, but the prices were indeed high, especially considering that drinks came at an extra cost, leading to a perception of low value for money. If you're coming for the ambiance, gathering, or photos, it might be acceptable; but if you're measuring solely by the deliciousness of the food, it’s advisable not to set your expectations too high.
I think the meals here are all creative and the drinks are very unique.
Sapphire is blueberry yogurt, bursting with blueberry flavor, and you can even eat grains.
The brightest pomelo and mango soda tastes sweeter and tastes like when I was a kid. After asking, I found out that it contains ice popsicles (that’s the flavor!)
Tiramisu coffee is really like drinking tiramisu, super high reduction
The milk cap on top is very thick and rich. The finger biscuits on top can be eaten while dipping. It goes well with the slightly bitter coffee below~
