Takoyaki offers two flavors: bonito flakes and seaweed, paired with mayonnaise. The taste is decent but not particularly outstanding. The outer skin is somewhat soft, lacking the crispiness found in Japanese versions.
The restaurant is located at the entrance of Fengjia Night Market and has a thriving business, often requiring customers to line up and wait, creating a lively atmosphere. Even when there are large crowds, the waiting time is not long, making it one of the must-try foods in Fengjia.
Due to the large crowd, there may be a short wait, but overall the service performance is good. The staff each have their respective duties, and even while waiting in line, you can quickly receive your meal.

At the intersection near an entrance of Fengjia Night Market, there is a really popular place called "Nisshoden Takoyaki." I went to buy some around 11 PM on a Friday night, and I still had to wait in line for about 5-10 minutes; the business is booming!
You can choose between bonito flakes or seaweed for toppings, and we opted for the classic bonito flakes. The takoyaki here is on the softer side, and the outer skin isn't very crispy, but it's still tasty with the bonito flakes and mayonnaise added on. However, most takoyaki tastes like this, so it isn't particularly special.
If you're going to have to wait a long time in line, I personally think it's not worth making a special trip. I'm sure there are other takoyaki options available at Fengjia Night Market as well.
I had it during college. It seems like I crave it once in a while. I don’t know what makes it different from others, but I think this place is really tastier!
Also, regardless of how crowded Fengjia is, there's always a line. But they have a lot of staff, each handling their responsibilities. Even if there are 10 people ahead, it probably takes less than 10 minutes to get your order.
If you don’t have to line up for too long, I would definitely recommend it as a must-try in Fengjia.
This can be said to be cheap and delicious. It comes in two flavors, original and wasabi. You can also add bonito or seaweed to these two flavors. Of course, adding both will cost an additional five yuan. This stall is always very busy, so if there are many people, you have to wait for more than half an hour. As for takoyaki, you will eat real octopus pieces, which can be considered an improved takoyaki with a crisper outside than Japanese ones.
