The broth of the dish is quite good and the ingredients are fresh, but the overall flavor does not meet expectations, and the portion size is on the smaller side, which may not be filling enough, especially for male customers.
The restaurant has a modern and warm exterior, but the interior decor is relatively simple, making it suitable for large gatherings.
Entering this restaurant, which touts itself as "family-style," the exterior is modern and cozy, but the interior is somewhat simple. The menu is filled with a dazzling array of noodles and snacks, which at first glance seem to suggest a vibe similar to "affordable Chun Shui Tang," but after tasting, one can only sigh, "It's similar in appearance but lacks in spirit."
If considering it as a lunch option, it's quite difficult to directly order a set meal costing around 300 to 400 NT dollars. The only main dish available is a bowl of pot-stirred noodles priced at 180 NT dollars, and if it weren't for a colleague's gathering, it wouldn't really be a great option.
In terms of overall flavor, the broth is not bad; it's not overly salty, and the ingredients are fresh and standard. However, due to the insufficient portion size, if a guy were to eat it, he might feel very unsatisfied. Considering portion size, price, and ambiance, I would recommend Chun Shui Tang more.
If given another opportunity, I would still be willing to try their light meals.
