The mung bean paste has a smooth and not overly sweet texture, and it pairs better with milk, though the mung bean flavor is slightly weak. The dumplings are soft and chewy, and they are very popular, with soy milk available as well. It would be even better if the mung bean flavor could be more pronounced.
After ordering and waiting for a bit, I was in a hurry and just grabbed three drinks to go. It wasn't until I left that I remembered I forgot to take a photo of the food, haha. Looking online, it seems like the store's exterior has been renovated several times, and I realized it has been open for a few years; I just never noticed it when passing by before. I happened to see the mung bean soup and wanted to give it a try. Looking at the menu, I was pleasantly surprised to find they have fried dumplings, so I immediately decided to order those.
The mung bean soup is smooth and not overly sweet, and pairing it with milk makes it even more palatable, although I think the mung bean flavor could be a bit stronger. The fried dumplings are soft and chewy, which I really like, and there's an option to add soy milk. I'm looking forward to coming back to see what other flavors they have. I hope the mung bean flavor is a bit more pronounced next time; that would be even better!
