During the Chinese New Year, because I wasn't sure if regular breakfast places were open, I made plans with a friend to have breakfast at McDonald's. This particular McDonald's is probably the oldest one in the Wenxin Road and Wenxin South Road area; I remember it has been around for over twenty years.

This time I ordered the Pork McMuffin, hash browns, and American hot coffee. I used my eco-friendly cup, and got a refund of 5 yuan. Regarding the Pork McMuffin, I don't know if it's just my perception, but I felt that the burger patties at this location were a bit thicker; they didn't have the thin and somewhat empty feeling like at other places I've tried before. The hash browns were average; they tasted about the same as usual. As for the American coffee, opinions are quite divided. For me, it probably just depends on personal taste preferences. Friends who enjoy fruity flavors might find McDonald's coffee unpleasant, but for those who prefer dark roasts, they might appreciate the smooth bitterness with a hint of caramelization. Personally, I really liked it. 😂

Overall, the dining space is spacious, but the play area has remained closed since the pandemic.
