Yakiniku restaurant | NT$1,140~NT$7,050

AI Spot Summary

Environment
The decor in the dining area adopts a Japanese style, with bright lighting, although some areas have slightly dim lights, making it difficult to see the color changes while grilling. The seating consists of small tables in small partitions, and there is plenty of space for bags without feeling cramped. However, the wooden chairs are a bit hard. There are quite a few tables available, but it is recommended to make a reservation to avoid disappointment.

Food
This time, we enjoyed a chicken, pork, and duck three-person set meal without beef for NT$2690.
Ala carte orders include Japanese yam for NT$120 and zucchini for NT$120.
Voting for the Taichung Food Festival + NT$29 beef rib strips.

The main meat in this set is pork, with chicken and duck as secondary options. The quality of the meat is quite good. The pork shoulder strips are more difficult to grill since they are frozen and a bit thick, and pork must be cooked through, so it's easy to end up with burnt outsides and raw insides, or even dried-out meat if not careful. Thinner cuts are easier to grill and can be paired with lettuce and scallion salt (which can be refilled unlimitedly). If you like it spicy, you can add kimchi (one serving included in the set; additional serving is NT$45).

I highly recommend adding yam; it has black pepper sprinkled on top and is crunchy when grilled. The dessert is Haagen-Dazs ice cream!

Parking
The restaurant has an affiliated parking lot located on Dadu 5th Street (across from Times Parking Lot), where you can enjoy two hours of free parking. Exceeding this time costs NT$40/hour. If the lot is full, you can also park in the Times parking lot across the street for NT$30/half hour. I'm not sure if motorcycles can park right in front of the restaurant, but there are plenty of parking spaces on Dadu 4th Street.

Service
When it comes to BBQ, the most crucial service probably involves changing the grill net. The restaurant is very prompt in changing the grill nets, and the food is served quickly as well. They patiently explain the items and grilling methods. I highly recommend everyone to come and try it out!
