Chocolate Workshop has two stores, one specializing in chocolate and the other selling gelato. This time, I mainly came for the gelato. I had seen it during a previous visit and it looked delicious, so I decided to try it while I was nearby buying toast.
▪️Three-scoop cone $180
· Assam milk tea flavor
· Guana la heart 80% Valrhona P125 chocolate
· Sicilian pistachio
I chose the tea flavors I wanted to try; the milk tea flavor was just right and super smooth. The Chocolate Workshop should be tried for their chocolate; the 80% is truly rich and very delicious. It was my first time seriously eating pistachio ice cream (there have been a lot of pistachio products lately), and theirs is so rich! It really feels like you're eating the pistachio itself. I think this combination is great—I loved it! The cone is specially made and very fragrant, which pairs wonderfully with the ice cream.
▪️Two-scoop cone $140
· Dark chocolate
· Matcha
This was my friend's choice; the chocolate tasted different from mine but was also very good! The matcha was also seriously rich.
Overall, I really liked this place’s ice cream! Halfway through, I kept wondering if I should buy a second one... but being unwell, I didn't dare eat more🥲. I will definitely want to return specifically for their ice cream next time! Also, I’m really eager to try the mango, black sesame, and roasted tea flavors… I hope to have time to visit again🍦.
