The staple food of Japanese steamed dumplings is very simple and there is only one kind, which is steamed dumplings
One basket of steamed dumplings is $50, three baskets are $135
Side dishes and soup are all $35
This time I ordered 3 baskets of steamed dumplings for $135, pickled mustard and shredded pork soup for $35, and preserved egg and tofu for $35.
3 cages of steamed dumplings $135
There are 10 steamed dumplings in a basket, each one is about the size of 2-3 bites
The steamed dumpling skin is slightly thicker than the ordinary Xiaolong Soup Dumpling.
It’s a slightly chewy dough with a slight texture.
The filling is composed of pork, cabbage and green onions
There will be a little bit of soup when you bite into it
The taste itself is not bad. Sanlong can satisfy two adult men without any problem.
If you order three cages, the price/performance ratio is very high.
Mustard mustard and shredded pork soup $35
There's plenty of pickled mustard and a little less shredded pork.
Crispy mustard and shredded pork go well together
The soup base is the fresh and salty flavor of pickled mustard and the slight spiciness of pepper.
It’s very warm to drink in winter, and it’s not too spicy or salty to taste.
Preserved egg tofu $35
Side dishes can be picked up from the refrigerator
The tofu will release water. When you take it out, there will be a lot of water at the bottom of the plastic box.
There was no place in the store where you could drain the water yourself.
You have to add the soy sauce yourself. There is no bonito essence or bonito flakes.
It just lacks a bit of flavor. If you want to order some side dishes, I wouldn’t recommend this one.
The steamed dumplings taste good and are great value for money.
The soup tastes good and the price is good too
It’s a restaurant that I think I’d eat at every day, but I wouldn’t recommend it to my friends.
