Braces Person's Review: The restroom is on the second floor, and there is a washbasin.
I had a good impression of dining at the Yilan branch, and I didn't expect there to be one in Banqiao, so I came to give it a try. They offer both set meals and à la carte options; choosing a set meal allows you to waive the 300 yuan cooking fee.
This time I chose the double-person set meal priced at 899 yuan, which includes:
Dual-flavor soup base (original pickled cabbage soup & green pepper soup)
Lactic acid bacteria pickled cabbage
Cold mixed glass noodles
Scallion pancakes
Crispy pork belly (2 servings)
Mixed mushroom platter
Seasonal vegetables
Cabbage
Additionally, we ordered egg dumplings (50 yuan) and taro and fresh meat balls (60 yuan) to add some different textures.
The first dishes that were served were the scallion pancakes and cold mixed glass noodles, which I recommend eating while they are hot. The scallion pancakes are very fragrant and paired well with the glass noodles, creating a delightful combination. As for the soup base, I personally prefer the green pepper soup, which is numbing but not spicy and has a refreshing aroma; the original pickled cabbage soup has sufficient acidity and can be occasionally pungent. The pork belly is fresh and has no fishy smell, with tender meat. The mixed mushroom platter includes five different types of mushrooms, offering a rich variety. The egg dumplings and taro and fresh meat balls are also surprising and have a solid texture, highly recommendable.
