Taipei All-You-Can-Eat Spicy Hot Pot Must-Try - Xin Dian Spicy Hot Pot

I’m not exaggerating; this all-you-can-eat hot pot place truly stands out in both food quality and atmosphere. Definitely a must-try in this lifetime. After many years of enjoying food in Taipei, I’ve found that this place is still the most to my taste ♥️

Xin Dian Spicy Hot Pot Songjiang Branch is located at Exit 7 of Songjiang Nanjing Station. The interior design is very modern and minimalist, giving it a slightly upscale feel among mid-range all-you-can-eat restaurants. The seating is quite large, easily accommodating plenty of meat and vegetable platters.

𖧷 Ordering Method

One great thing about this place is the unified menu, so you won’t have to deal with different price levels with different combinations. When you sit down, you’re given several order sheets, and essentially it works based on the table. After filling out your order, just hand it directly to the staff. I ordered four sheets this time, and it was a very enjoyable experience—the dishes came out pretty quickly too.

The selection of dishes is extensive! There’s meat, seafood, vegetables, and hot pot ingredients; even desserts like brownies and puddings can be found on the order sheet.

I highly recommend the beef tongue; the small slices don’t have a strong flavor, but rather a sweet taste. The quality of the black pork is excellent, with each slice being evenly cut lean pork. The lamb slices are also delicious, with a mild lamb smell that’s just right! As for the seafood, I wouldn’t recommend the abalone, as it's actually "nine-holes" (not real large abalone) and has a rather strong fishy taste. The shrimp, clams, and scallops are all quite good, bringing out the freshness of the seafood. The Penghu small octopus is really impressive, tender and delicious, though not big in size, it has a fantastic flavor—super recommended.

The spicy soup base is well-seasoned, not overly spicy or numbing, making it suitable for dipping meat or enjoying duck blood. The garlic broth is perfect for cooking vegetables and seafood; adding the shrimp paste into the garlic broth is truly satisfying.

The beverage area is well-stocked, with both cold and hot drinks available, including the much-loved bottled Coca-Cola ✨—there’s nothing better than the taste of bottled Coca-Cola!

They also offer HÄAGEN-DAZS ice cream (8 flavors) and Cold Stone ice cream (8 flavors) for unlimited scooping, along with a collaboration polar bear popsicle that looks really tasty.

I give a good rating for the service; the staff is courteous and allows plenty of space for customers to move around. They also adjust the serving plates based on the status of the table. They come by occasionally to replace dirty plates and clear empty ones, making the whole dining experience very comfortable without being intrusive.

Overall, I absolutely love Xin Dian Spicy Hot Pot! I give this all-you-can-eat hot pot a full 5 stars 💯

Whether you love spicy hot pots or are a meat lover, I highly recommend Xin Dian Spicy Hot Pot, especially the Songjiang Branch—I personally prefer the seating arrangement in Songjiang over the one in Gongguan, which I find a bit uncomfortable.

Coming to Xin Dian hot pot is all about eating meat to your heart's content.
The thinly sliced beef short ribs cooked to medium doneness are very tasty.
Duck blood and tofu can be added again.
Seafood platter It seems that this platter is served immediately upon seating. You can then order additional seafood dishes afterward.
The translation of "蝦仁滑" to English is "smooth shrimp."
In addition to the ordered meals, there is also Häagen-Dazs ice cream (8 flavors) and Cold Stone ice cream (8 flavors) available for unlimited servings.
Polar bear popsicle
The sauce area is very well-stocked! You can pair it however you want. Personally, I prefer to eat it plain without any sauce.
The beverage area has both hot and cold drinks, and it also has the most popular glass bottle Coke✨. Indeed, glass bottle Coke is still the best tasting!
The smoothie has a HALSEY chocolate flavor, featuring a rich chocolate taste. Although it's slightly sweet, the icy cold smoothie pairs quite well with spicy hot pot.

冬天還沒到但羊肉爐先吃起來🔥雖然最近的天氣還是會邊吃邊流汗 但我已經忍不到冬天了:D這家羊肉爐幾乎都是回頭客,我們家也常常來捧場,在清泉崗機場附近的小路內,基本上大家應該都是口耳相傳或網路上找到的,因為地點實在不太容易經過甚至發現~ 場地非常非常大,坐好幾百人不是問題,前門的大廣場要支撐現在的來客數,所以大概1/3會擺上桌子,其他地方則是供顧客停車。 - 入座後老闆會送上花生,在等待餐點期間不無聊 餐具/醬料都是自取 之前吃過連鎖品牌的羊肉爐,雖然香濃好吃但真的非常油,這家的湯頭雖然也是濃郁派的,但相對較清爽,喝起來不會有很燥的感覺。不過不是炭火派的燒肉,是用桌上型瓦斯爐。 我們這次兩人點了小份的羊肉爐,裡面本身就有羊肉原塊和蠻多的基底蔬菜、火鍋料,其實不用加點太多配料,光這鍋我們兩人分三餐吃😹 可見有多划算! 特別要稱讚它們家的羊肉,肉多骨頭少且不乾柴,稍微咬一下就骨肉分離,皮較勁Q彈,算是目前吃到最喜歡的羊肉。 另外推薦加點涮羊肉片(煮久了也不會不好吃)、麵線,至於火鍋料、青菜都是自取,以盤計價。 除此之外這邊也有近60種的熱炒菜色,非常豐富,無論是地上爬的還是水裡游的,這裡都吃得到😝 整體還蠻推薦的,冬天就要到來,大家可以預備備了🏃‍♀️ ✐小鍋羊肉爐(二人份)$600 ✐涮羊肉片(半斤)$200 ✐麵線(一人份) $40 ✐菜脯蛋 $160 ·菜脯蛋煎得表面恰恰,雖然是普通的菜餚但香氣很足夠。 ✐五更腸旺 $350 ·這個五更腸旺是唯一弱點,雖然鴨血&大腸都沒有不新鮮的味道,但基底的醬汁很不像傳統的五更腸旺,有點像甜辣醬的感覺,勾芡很濃,這道我不推。 ✐火鍋料/青菜/花生(想吃自己拿)每盤$60

A popular place for hot pot with good value. I find that the basic option is not that much food though, so I recommend adding the extra meat or extra seafood. As with most hot pot places there is a place to make your own dipping sauce, and several drink options. There's also popcorn, ice cream, and marinated pork rice. A few complaints I have though, there aren't many non caffeinated drinks options suitable for kids that are not artificially flavored (e.g. Juice), and the marinated pork is very light on meat, just tastes like soy sauce. But otherwise things are good.

🚩長白小館 四十多年酸菜鍋名店 長白小館為台北市的酸菜白肉鍋名店,是開業四十多年老店。除了本地顧客,也很多來自外國的遊客,孤獨的美食家五郎也曾經到訪。 餐廳位於台北市光復南路,最近的捷運站為國父紀念館站2號出口,步行約2分鐘。店內分為1樓和B1座位區,平日中午來訪客人不會非常多(也可能天氣還不夠冷?)。空間寬敞,裝潢簡單,牆面裝飾許多字畫,整體氣氛樸實。 入座後由店員送上菜單,可依照人數和食量選擇鍋底尺寸,再單點火鍋料或麵食。用餐完再結帳,僅收現金。 今天6人前來用餐,餐點內容如下⬇️ 🔸普大套鍋$2680 大鍋包含白肉、酸白菜、凍豆腐、螃蟹、香菇,再選兩盤肉(牛羊豬任選),兩份白菜粉絲。 上桌要先等待湯底全部滾熟,但裡面配料很多,白菜凍豆腐很快就能直接吃,湯底夠味且夠酸,吃起來超級過癮,附的2盤肉(牛+豬)份量很大盤,涮到最後有點怕,還有香菇、螃蟹、白菜、冬粉,每種都份量十足,只點套鍋就吃得非常飽。 因為習慣吃原味不沾醬,所以醬料搭起來如何就無法評論了,但之後如果有機會再訪想挑戰看看牆上推薦的醬料搭配。 🔸單點火鍋料:金針菇$100、魚餃$100、炸肉丸(10顆)$360 份量還算可以,炸肉丸進鍋裡煮吸滿湯汁非常香,口感柔軟。 🔸蔥油餅 $50 形狀是少見的長條形?口感脆,餅皮香 🔸韭菜盒子 $120 非常大一個,個人不喜歡韭菜但他們的味道不會臭,皮煎的很香,讚讚 🔸炒雪螺(小份) $250 份量大,但吃起來覺得普通,跟鍋不太搭。 長白小館的份量與價格都令人滿意,餐點的美味程度也是中上,我想等冬天到了就更難吃到啦。
