Overall Review: 🌕🌕🌕🌑🌑
Dickson's Fooday Food Review #222
This visit was to a newly opened Italian restaurant that opened not long ago last year.
Its location is situated in between Guting and the Taipower Building MRT stations.

The main dishes focus on pasta and other Italian risottos, etc.
The overall decor and atmosphere are quite nice, giving off a vintage yet renovated feel.
The seating in the restaurant is also quite ample.

The menu primarily features various Italian dishes, including pasta and several risottos.
If you want the roasted spring chicken, you need to reserve it in advance!

Overall, it can be considered a small Italian restaurant with a very authentic atmosphere!

Although the restaurant's location is a bit remote,
I highly recommend it for those interested in various Italian dishes or pasta.
After all, it is a new restaurant.

It's always nice to check out new places!
As for the food, overall it is above average—
so it's quite suitable for giving it a try!

⭐️Food Section
👉 Daily Special Scallop Risotto
The dish of the day is scallop risotto.
But personally, I feel there isn’t much difference compared to other Italian risottos.
There are two scallops on top, but the price is slightly high.

👉 Fireworks Surf Clams and Keelung Squid $480
A more unique pasta dish.
The quantity of squid on top is quite decent, but overall, it’s just the pasta and squid.
Combined with the squid, the flavor is rather special.

If you come, I recommend trying this dish,
After all, squid from Keelung paired with pasta brings out a new taste!

👉 Lemon Sicily and Fresh Shrimp $450
This pasta is more standard.
It’s a basic lemon Sicily and fresh shrimp pasta.
The taste didn’t provide any particular shock value; it's more of a flavor you can find elsewhere.

👉 Slow Roasted Spring Chicken $1380
You must ask the restaurant about the spring chicken when making your reservation,
As it is indeed a special dish that needs to be reserved ahead of time.
I personally feel that if you’re interested, you should definitely reserve this dish.

Although it doesn’t pair particularly well with the Italian aspect,
This spring chicken was the most memorable dish from the entire dining experience.

In certain parts, the chicken was a bit dry,
But because there were various sauces to accompany it,
The preparation of the chicken included many ingredients and seasonings,
So I quite recommend this dish!

⭐️Beverage Section
The restaurant will ask whether you want still water or sparkling water at the beginning.
Since I chose neither sparkling water nor any other beverage that day,
I won’t comment much on the drinks!

⭐️Atmosphere Section
Since the restaurant is relatively new,
The overall decor and exterior are very fresh.
Though it might look a bit like an old house that has been renovated from the outside,
It is still a very stylish and bright restaurant.
Looking in from outside gives a cozy and warm feeling.

The wooden tones inside create a nice ambiance,
Making the dining quality quite pleasant.

This restaurant's atmosphere is suitable for larger groups,
And also a great place for a date for two!

⭐️Service Section
The number of staff isn’t very high,
So there may be some wait time for dishes.
The service experience doesn't provide anything particularly special.

It’s quite basic in terms of ordering and serving food.

⭐️Price Section
Considering the generally high price of Italian pasta or risotto,
The restaurant’s prices are slightly high,
Probably around 10% to 15% more than other small Italian restaurants.

What’s unfortunate is
that I feel the ingredients and flavors don’t significantly differ from those at other places,
So this price feels a bit steep to me—
it gives off a feeling of “Wow, why is this so expensive?”

⭐️Location Section
As mentioned at the beginning, the restaurant is situated between Guting and Taipower Building MRT stations,
So whether you’re coming from the MRT or by bus,
You still need to walk a small distance to reach it.

Additionally, there aren’t any notable points or shops nearby to browse,
So it feels like a place you specifically come to just to eat.

Thus, in terms of location, I do feel it’s not very convenient!

⭐️In Summary
This is a newly opened Italian restaurant that initially had me quite excited.
In terms of overall décor and atmosphere,
I think they’ve created a very nice vibe.

However, it’s regrettable that the dishes
didn’t offer anything particularly outstanding or impressive.
They’re generally above average but lack memorable elements, which is unfortunate.

Still, if you’re interested in Italian cuisine or small restaurants,
Although transportation isn't very convenient,
If you happen to pass by this area,
I think it’s worth a visit to try their pasta!
