I went to a teppan cuisine restaurant in Kitashinchi! 🔥

The restaurant is called Teppan Shikisai, located in Umeda Kitashinchi! 🔥 The nearest station is Kitashinchi Station on the JR Tozai Line, but it's also within walking distance from Umeda Station on various lines. 🚃

There are counter seats and table seats, and the aroma wafts beautifully in front of the teppan at the counter seats. ✨

I chose a drink:
Ginger ale🫚 - 440 yen each, for a total of 880 yen. 🫚

This includes Japanese beef filet steak, a platter of seven types of appetizers, and a surprise dessert.

It looked so beautiful😍 Every item was delicately prepared and delicious! ✨
The octopus carpaccio🐙 was fresh and had a great flavor, while the tartar with avocado, salmon, and tomato🍅🥑🐟 was rich and tasty due to the abundant avocado. The scallops in cream sauce🐚 were plump and flavorful. The steamed chicken with genovese🐔 was fluffy and well-seasoned. The sautéed forest mushrooms with baguette🍄‍🟫🥖 were one of the recommended dishes✨, and the mushroom flavors were rich and incredibly delicious!

The seafood ajillo, served with a baguette✨ included:

  • Scallops
  • Shrimp🦐
  • Octopus🐙

The scallops were huge, plump, and delicious!✨ The shrimp and octopus were also tender🦐🐙. It was hot, rich, and went perfectly with the baguette, making it incredibly tasty. 🥖

Japanese beef filet steak on the teppan🐮
was beautifully presented on the plate. The filet was cooked to medium rare and cut for easy eating with chopsticks.🐮 It came with vegetables and mushrooms🥒🍄‍🟫, and the steak sauce🐮, rock salt🧂, and pepper✨ were also elegantly arranged. The meat was juicy, and all the seasonings were delicious!🐮✨ The vegetables and mushrooms were fragrant and tasty too. 🍄‍🟫

Teppan pasta available in two types🔥

  • Tomato pasta🍅, with powdered cheese added🧀, came with shrimp🦐, basil, goya (bitter melon), and zucchini🥒. It was a summer-like pasta☀️, and the tangy tomato sauce clung to the grilled, chewy noodles, making it delicious! 🍝 The flavor of the powdered cheese was also delightful! 🧀

  • Cream pasta✨ was mixed after breaking the egg yolk🥚. It contained eggplant🍆, coarse minced pork🐷, and mushrooms🍄‍🟫. The cream was rich, and the mushroom flavor was strong, making it incredibly tasty! 🍄‍🟫 The minced pork and eggplant were also delicious! 🐷🍆 The pasta and sauce paired nicely too, making it wonderful! ✨

could be customized with a message, so I was able to celebrate my companion's birthday from last month🎂. It included:
