Neihu, Taipei - A Taiwanese lunch shop with a high CP value in the area. It has a rich menu and you will have to queue up every meal time.
📍Scallion oil chicken drumstick bento NT$95
🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑
The main meal is a large chicken drumstick with a choice of three side dishes. The chicken legs are tender and not too old. The store will chop the chicken legs into three equal parts, so it is not too difficult to chew when eating.
If there is pumpkin as a side dish, I will definitely choose it. Because their pumpkin is steamed, it doesn't get oily. Usually the side dishes in this kind of bento shop are really oily!
There are a lot of green vegetables to choose from. Cabbage, cauliflower, water spinach, sweet potato leaves, and spinach are all items I often order.
📍Rice and vegetable bento NT$75 (take away)
🌕🌕🌕🌕🌘
You can choose from five side dishes with the vegetable rice. The 75 yuan bento with five dishes has a very high CP value.
In addition, tomato tofu scrambled eggs is their popular side dish. They can make a small thickening and it will go very well when poured on top of rice. However, since the seasoning is sweet with added sugar, I only order this dish occasionally.
▶️ Environment
🔹The interior space is acceptable, with a total of 4 tables for two, and a row of single seats can accommodate about 7~8 people
🔹Drinking water is provided for self-service
🔹Self-service tableware (disposable and iron chopsticks are available)
🔹There is free soup that you can drink until you are full
▶️ Thoughtful reminder
🔹 Cash only
🔹 If you want to have more dishes to choose from, it is recommended to buy at around 11 noon or 5 pm.
🔹 If the dining time reaches 1 pm or 7 pm, there will be someone cleaning nearby, and the dining experience will not be very good. I don't usually choose to use it during this time.
🔹 If you want to choose braised eggs as a side dish, it will cost an extra 5 yuan.
🔹 You can only order dishes without rice or less rice.
🔹 If you want to order a la carte rice bento, you can tell the aunt first and she will help you pick up the five dishes. Otherwise, it will be preset with only three channels.
▶️ Overall evaluation
🔹 A bento shop where you can drink soup for free is considered a Buddha in my opinion. Occasionally I come across soups with a lot of ingredients, such as tomato, tofu and egg drop soup, bamboo shoots and egg drop soup, and I will eat them all xD
🔹 I often eat their mackerel bento at NT$75, which is a very good value. But sometimes it's too dry or too salty, and I don't order it much later.
🔹 They have a lot of side dishes to choose from. Usually when I don’t know what to eat, I will come here to buy a vegetable and rice box for a meal.
