Liujia Squid Noodles is located near Qingda University. Because I wanted to avoid too much starch, this time I chose a small bowl of mixed soup and blanched squid.
🍲Small bowl of mixed soup - $65
This bowl of mixed soup is slightly sweet and sour, and it feels like some sand tea is added to enhance the flavor. There was no black vinegar on the table, which made the soup lack the balance of sourness, which was a pity. The proportion of squid soup in the soup is slightly more, while the portions of squid and red meat soup are about the same. Overall, with this portion and seasoning, the price is reasonable and the taste is quite satisfactory.
🦑 Hot squid – $70
The blanched squid is mainly seasoned with sand tea, and some leeks and nine-story pagoda are also placed underneath to increase the aroma. The preparation of this dish is very simple, the squid is very fresh, has a chewy texture, no fishy smell, and the portion is quite satisfying. If you want to add protein, this dish is quite cost-effective.
🏠 Overall rating
Overall, Liu's Squid Noodles is a street shop with good value for money. If you don't care much about the details of the hygienic environment, this is a good choice, especially for diners who like to try local snacks. Located near the school district, if you want to grab a quick meal and enjoy an authentic taste, you may want to consider this place.
