In the late night in Xinyi District, I thought I might as well have a bowl of ramen since it was almost 11 o'clock, and there really weren't many options. So I first went to Ichiran, but found out I would have to wait 4 hours. I wondered if that was too outrageous and decided to quickly change plans.
Fortunately, there was another ramen shop nearby that was open late, otherwise I would have felt quite disappointed.
The shop wasn't very big, but there were only a few customers at night. After being seated, I looked at the menu and decided to try the naked soup ramen (rich broth).
The food came out quickly, and of course, the first thing I did was taste the broth. To my surprise, it was really a rich chicken broth. The flavor of the chicken was very strong, definitely living up to its name—one word: excellent.
The noodles and the chashu were also good. Personally, I preferred the pork chashu from this shop; the chicken chashu wasn't as tasty.
