Hello everyone, I am the little frog 🐸
Miacucina is a vegetarian restaurant. Today, a friend invited me to try the restaurant in Nangsi, located on the second floor of Shin Kong Mitsukoshi near Zhongshan Station. It's very convenient for public transportation; you can get there by taking exit 2 from Zhongshan Station.
For the vegetarian options, you can customize to include eggs and dairy or go fully vegan. There is a minimum order of one dish or one drink, and the dining time is limited to 90 minutes.
⭐️ Blue Cheese Poached Egg Bacon Pasta $435
The poached egg is cold; when cut open, the yolk is somewhat cooked and not very runny… The creamy pasta is rich, sprinkled with blue cheese, and overall it tastes very creamy. The vegetarian bacon tastes a lot like mushrooms, accompanied by spinach and walnuts.
⭐️ Tomato Meat Sauce Wild Mushroom Risotto $425
The tomato flavor is very strong, with crushed tomatoes and onions, paired with roasted mushrooms. The creamy risotto has a perfect balance of softness.
⭐️ Black Truffle Cream Mushroom Pasta $455
This is also a very rich and creamy mushroom pasta, with the addition of black truffle, which gives it an exceptional aroma. Compared to a simple cream flavor, this pasta stands out with its truffle addition. If you like truffle, you should order this; they give a generous amount of mushrooms.
⭐️ Ganache Berry Pancake $445
The pancake dough is very crispy, with a small amount of strawberries and blueberries, sprinkled with almond slices and drizzled with chocolate sauce, making it a sweet pancake. There is quite a bit of chocolate sauce, and although the strawberries and blueberries provide a slight tartness, it still feels a bit sweet overall.
⭐️ Mia's favorite Strawberry Walnut Salad $350
This is a fruit salad ordered by my friend, which we did not share. She said it was delicious, containing a variety of fruits and walnuts, and the portion is sufficient.
‼️ Conclusion:
The price of the dishes is not low, and there is a 10% service charge for dining in!
Maybe it’s because my usual diet is a bit lighter…
This restaurant is probably one of the more flavorful vegetarian places I’ve been to. The portion sizes are relatively generous… After having these dishes for dinner, I felt the meals were quite rich and heavy overall, so I prefer vegetarian dishes that are more refreshing in flavor… Personally, I have a lower willingness to return.
