Braised Beef Dried Noodle $140
The beef slices are very delicious! The sauce has a flavor that might include Sichuan peppercorns or similar spices, but it's only salty and not spicy. The noodles are wide. The toppings include bean sprouts, cabbage, dried tofu, and half a braised egg.
Overall it's quite good, except for the cabbage being cut into strips which makes it a bit hard to understand in terms of taste. Normally, I don’t like dried tofu much, but it didn’t stand out in the noodles and instead blended really well.
Secret Vinegar-Flavor Noodle $75
The noodles are thin, and the toppings are the same as the braised beef dried noodle, just the expected flavors.
Chilled Pig Skin Salad $50
The portion is quite generous.
Grandma's Braised Duck Blood $50
Four large pieces, very tender and tasty.
Classic Side Dish Combo $50
Braised egg + kelp + dried tofu
The side dishes are all quite worthwhile, highly recommend the braised duck blood, and the noodles are also pretty good. It's not expensive, and if I want to eat noodles near Taipei Main Station, I'll definitely come back!
