Location: Nangang District, Taipei City
Recently, there has been a super famous high-end buffet restaurant that is extremely hard to book. You have to rush in early to have a chance at getting a reservation. I watched too many videos and really wanted to eat there. As a result, I managed to grab three time slots on time, and later offered the other two time slots to friends.
What I like the most is that each area is paired with different types of alcohol. They have sake, millet wine, white wine, red wine, and various cocktails matched with different sections. I have a ceremonial feeling that I should only take items from that particular section if I'm going to drink from that section’s alcohol. Drinking white wine first is really quite bitter, but when paired with seafood, another sweetness emerges. It really feels very ceremonial; I believe people who love wine will be very happy with this.
🌟 Beverage Sharing
In addition to the alcohol paired with each area, there is also a dedicated beverage area. The cocktails are collaborated with a famous bar in Tainan. If you check out bars in Tainan, you will definitely know it. However, this time I only tried the one in the middle. It is truly suitable for this kind of family-friendly buffet. It is basically a "sister drink," with a light alcohol flavor, paired with the fresh sweetness of fruits, making it very refreshing and delicious.
🌟 Sushi & Seafood
My favorite is the freshly made seared sushi: seared wagyu, seared scallops, and seared salmon, all having an additional fragrance from the searing process. I highly recommend it to those who are not that fond of raw food.
Hand rolls are also made on the spot, and there are many flavors to choose from. However, you can tell that the staff is quite tired because it has become mechanical to a certain extent.
🌟 Barbecue and Fried Items
For fried items, my favorites are the fried shrimp and fried oysters. They have no fishy taste and aren't too oily. For the grilled items, grilled oysters often require queuing. I only got to try one thanks to a friend who helped me get it. It was also very fresh and juicy, completely without any fishy taste. Highly recommended!
🌟 Desserts
My favorite is their ice cream, and I think the Swiss milk flavor is delicious. As for desserts, the red-fleshed guava Basque cheesecake is very tasty and quite unique.
Overall, I think the experience was excellent. Whether it’s the speed of clearing dishes, the staff's service, or the variety and freshness of the food, I believe it is above standard. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys this type of buffet. Personally, I am not very strong in these battles, but this is a place I would want to return to with my friends.
