Teppanyaki at Ningxia Night Market 🥩🦴🍳
A teppanyaki place I've been saving for a long time! Every time I pass by, there's a long queue, and they also have many takeout and delivery orders.
There are a lot of chefs in the restaurant!
There are also many staff members (most of them are foreign girls; our teppanyaki chef constantly instructs the staff on what to do 🤣).
Thick plum juice, white rice, and soup are self-serve.
The seating near the teppanyaki area is not too comfortable.

Order Items
🫶🏻 Couple's set meal ($530):
There are many varieties on the menu, and the set meal seems more cost-effective.
The portion of cabbage and bean sprouts for two people is quite generous! The vegetables are pretty fresh, and they fry them up quite well for teppanyaki 🥬.
Among the meats, I love the cod the most; it retains the crispy skin while the fish is tender and delicious 🤤.
The chicken thigh portion is very generous! However, it has a bit of a frozen taste.
The mixed seafood is not very distinct; it seems to rely somewhat on onions for bulk 🤣.
🫘 Braised dried tofu shreds ($50):
It has a nice pot flavor and is fried quite salty and fragrant,
but the tofu shreds are a bit fine and soft, lacking some texture.
🍄
Would I visit again: Yes!
Overall, it's a fairly decent and affordable teppanyaki place.
It will be a good choice next time I come to Ningxia Night Market to avoid the crowds.
