# Zhongli Xinming Night Market
This stinky tofu stall is located in the very lively Xinming Night Market.
There are quite a few paid parking lots nearby, making it convenient for friends who drive.

Many years ago, when it was just a stall, we often came here to eat.
Now, it has a storefront and I still find it delicious.
The dining environment is better now, and there’s even air conditioning.
What hasn’t changed is that the business is still very good.
For those who want to take it to go, I suggest buying it as soon as you arrive at the night market, and enjoy it later after you finish browsing. 😆
If you choose to eat in, you have to wait on-site, and when your number is called, everyone in your party must be present to enter.

Today, we also waited for almost an hour to eat in.
We ordered a mixed hot pot in the original flavor.
Although it’s called "original flavor," it actually has some spiciness to it.
I feel that their level of spiciness is generally on the higher side; the original flavor is about mildly spicy, which is still quite difficult for children to handle.
The individually ordered vermicelli is also only available in a spicy flavor.

The mixed hot pot is perfect for those who want to try a bit of everything.
It includes slices of meat, meatballs, an egg, enoki mushrooms, and two pieces of stinky tofu.
Personally, I prefer spicy duck blood over stinky tofu, but their stinky tofu is truly delicious.
It’s one of the few places I’d willingly come to even without duck blood.
The tofu itself is soft but not mushy, and each bite is filled with rich broth.
The seasoning isn’t overly salty, and the broth goes down easily.
It's both stinky and fragrant, but the odor is just right—not overpowering.
Even when it’s hot and I’m sweating and have a runny nose, I still enjoy it.

The spicy vermicelli has the perfect texture—not too hard but chewy.
It’s slightly spicier than the original flavor.
The portion is sufficient for a meal and can fill you up.

The reason I didn’t give five stars is that it takes too long to wait.
I recommend visiting on weekdays for a better experience,
but this place is still one I will continue to revisit and love.
I recommend it to food enthusiasts visiting the Xinming Night Market!

Spicy Vermicelli ($45)
Tofu soaked in plenty of broth.
Mixed Hot Pot Original Flavor ($170)
There are many employees, but the business is really thriving, it takes a long time.
While waiting for dine-in, I heard that takeout has already arrived at number 9x 😱
