This time I visited 'BELTZ,' which is a 10-minute walk from Ebisu Station! You can enjoy a beautifully baked Basque cheesecake that is crispy on the outside and creamy and subtly sweet on the inside!
The Basque cheesecake at 'BELTZ' is characterized by its fluffy and creamy texture. The secret behind its charred exterior and creamy interior lies in their meticulous baking process. To fully bring out the flavor of the ingredients along with that surprising texture, precise temperature adjustments are necessary. Through trial and error, they have created their own original baking method, resulting in this unique Basque cheesecake!
"Thoughts on the BELTZ Logo"
It apparently means "jet black" in Basque, and they want to bring the culinary spirit of the Basque region to Tokyo, providing a surprising and emotional experience through this new sensation of cheesecake. Those feelings are embodied in the logo.
Menu Ordered This Time
[Basque Cheesecake]
Visually, it had a strong char characteristic of Basque cheesecake, looking quite delicious. Contrary to its outer layer, the inside was smooth and creamy, with a rich cheese flavor that spread throughout my mouth as if I was eating cream cheese itself.
It's also available at their online shop and pop-up shops, so definitely give it a try and enjoy it!
Once again, my appetite has been satisfied!
Thank you for the meal!
