This time I ordered one each of liver skewers, large intestine, glutinous rice sausage, pork rinds, radish, and charcoal-grilled jigura.
The glutinous rice sausage is delicious, but I always mistakenly thought it was charcoal grilled, but it was actually steamed.
There are scallions in it, and I'm usually used to eating peanut-wrapped ones, which feels a bit novel.
The radish was also good, but the cut was a bit thin, and I didn’t feel like there was much in one portion. I thought 25 yuan was a bit expensive.
Jigula is said to be a mysterious food that can only be eaten in Keelung. Personally, I think it tastes tasteless. It feels like a bamboo wheel but not very similar, which is a bit subtle. However, if I come to Keelung next time, I will try it again.
The pork skin is a bit hard, it would be nice if it could be cooked a little softer.
Gan Lian, I think the pig flavor is a bit strong, and my friends who travel with me also think their pork dishes have a strong pig flavor, so they don't like it very much.
In summary, the above feelings are not that the food is bad, the store is generally clean, and the attitude is good, but it does not suit my personal taste. Maybe we are more sensitive to the smell of pig. But next time I come to Keelung, I probably won’t pay a return visit, unless I suddenly crave their rice sausage.
