The late-night eatery is located on Jianguo Road in Hualien City, an area much quieter in terms of dining options compared to the city center. However, this shop is always bustling with customers, indicating its deliciousness.
Today I enjoyed minced beef rice, sea bass porridge, beef bone meat, three-cup fish skin, and beef soup with egg flowers, totaling 510 NTD.
Minced Beef Rice:
The minced beef is very fragrant, and the rice has a great texture with distinct grains.
Sea Bass Porridge:
The sea bass is quite fresh, and the carefully simmered broth has no earthy or fishy taste.
Three-Cup Fish Skin:
The fish skin is very bouncy, giving a gelatinous texture that is very satisfying. The three-cup seasoning with basil complements the dish very well. Originally intended to try a hidden menu item, but this dish was also delicious.
Beef Bone Meat:
Another gelatinous delight, the meat around the bone is tender and not overly tough, but be cautious of the small bone fragments.
Beef Soup with Egg Flowers:
Originally wanted the wild vegetable beef soup, but it was sold out. The pink beef is tender, and the clear-broth beef soup with egg flowers stimulates the taste buds and is highly nutritious.
Overall, because the restaurant is so popular, it's a bit of a pity that some of the dishes I wanted to try were sold out. However, the dishes served were all very delicious. If I return to Hualien, I would still want to try the two dishes I missed this time.
Highly recommended to everyone!
