Mianxian soup is a classic Taiwanese snack, and some versions include seafood or other ingredients to enhance the flavor. Today, we introduce "How Old Are You This Year," a chain of mianxian soup restaurants that carries a strong sense of hometown nostalgia. The founder was deeply influenced by his grandparents' excellent cooking from a young age. As a child, he loved running back home covered in mud to enjoy a pot of fragrant garlic-flavored mianxian soup. This memory inspired him to establish "How Old Are You This Year" in the year 2011 after graduating from National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism, continuing his grandmother's culinary legacy and passing down this family recipe.
✅ Mixed Mianxian: A bowl contains four types of ingredients: oysters, pig intestines, meat soup, and fish soup. The broth is rich, and the mianxian is cooked to a perfect tenderness, making every bite smooth and enjoyable. The ingredients are very fresh, and the fish soup and meat soup are particularly chewy, with tender meat. Adding a bit of the restaurant's chili sauce creates a slight spiciness that makes it even more appetizing.

This bowl of seemingly ordinary mianxian is hard to stop eating, as the freshness of the ingredients shines through. The oysters and pig intestines have no fishy or strange smells, and you can also order extra ingredients to customize the richness according to your personal preference. Additionally, mianxian usually comes with cilantro, so friends who don't like cilantro remember to inform the restaurant in advance!
