A pasta restaurant rated 3 minutes walking distance from the entrance of Fu Jen Catholic University.
At first glance, the store appears small, but upon entering, you'll find there are quite a few seats.
On weekday evenings at around 7 o'clock, there are about 3 to 4 groups of customers, so there’s no need to wait; you can be seated right away.
You order via QR code.
After deciding on the main dish, you can choose between risotto, straight noodles, or penne pasta.
There's a good degree of freedom in this choice. I really like it when I can decide between risotto or pasta (๑•̀ᄇ•́)و ✧
Garlic spicy white wine clam penne pasta - $158
I prefer shaped pasta over straight noodles XD.
It has a mild spiciness, almost not spicy at all.
The penne pasta has a good texture—not too soft or too hard.
The amount of clams is average.
Unfortunately, it feels like the pasta and sauce were cooked separately, so the pasta hasn’t absorbed the flavor of the sauce.
Creamy lemon smoked salmon risotto - $188
The smoked salmon is very tasty (✪ω✪).
The rice doesn't have a hard center.
The lemon and cream flavors seem to be separate, as if the lemon was drizzled on after cooking (?
However, the cream flavor is not overly sweet or rich.
Neither my sister nor I were particularly fond of the seasoning in this dish.
Overall, for an affordable Italian pasta restaurant, the performance is decent, but you need to choose your dishes wisely.
