[Four stars: overall highly recommended and will come again]
When it comes to must-eat food in Hsinchu, this restaurant is on many people’s lists.
I was also impressed by their bubble milk tea buns on the Internet before.
This time I happened to pass by the Chenghuang Temple, and from a distance I saw the bright billboards and the queue of people... I wanted to join in! (Taiwanese people’s instinct is to queue up🤪)
Originally I just wanted to try something new, but it turned out that I was interested in many flavors. In the end, I brought seven flavors, some cold and some hot.
Eat the hot ones on site, take the cold ones home and freeze them, and steam them when you want to eat~
What I brought were sesame/Chenghuang buns/spicy meat buns/peeled chili buns/pearl milk tea buns/taro paste buns/bamboo shoot meat buns
The first one I ate was a bubble milk tea bag🧋I have to be honest⋯I personally didn’t think it matched well, so when I ate the first one I became suspicious of its reputation, and suddenly I wasn’t looking forward to other flavors and was afraid of buying it. The results are not delicious
result! I ate another peeled chili flavor while taking the train. The slightly spicy peeled chili is a bonus in the meat filling. Although the meat buns at this restaurant are not the ones with very large pieces of meat, but in the past The price is very affordable and the taste will satisfy you after eating it.
If the freezer space in the rental house was not too small, I would definitely buy 10 pills

🥇Burned sesame seeds (those who like sesame seeds really need to buy it. The filling is not ordinary, it is super fragrant and the best when freshly steamed)

I feel that the taste of steaming it after buying it is no worse than that bought in the store, but more juicy.
I originally thought that I would be able to eat seven of them for a long time... but it turns out that two days have passed and I have already left the last one in the refrigerator.
I’d like to try other flavors next time I go there, and I’ll bring a few of the ones I tasted first this time.

When I was filling out the menu outside, I saw a sign outside the store saying that there are two payment methods: Easy Card and cash.
Since I don’t have much cash left, I thought it would be more convenient to pay with an Easy Card after entering.
As a result, when I got to the queue, the store told me that the machine was closed and I could only pay with cash. There was a long queue at the back, so I could only awkwardly ask the store to wait a moment and let me collect the money (the store is just a few steps across from the store). That is, the whole family can receive cash)
