Caravan 卡騯· 異國料理 (新的lazy tree懶人樹）

Located in Taitung, Caravan is a small restaurant that feels like stepping into a world kitchen. This time, we ordered the "sharing platter," which is so rich in content that it feels like a mini culinary world tour: Turkish eggs, oven-roasted pulled pork burritos, Middle Eastern fava bean pancake salad, Korean-style baked mac and cheese, and delicate hummus, each dish carrying the aroma of different cultures.

First up are the Turkish eggs—yogurt, olive oil, and spicy seasoning blend perfectly together, and it's incredibly satisfying to dip the bread into it. Next is the pulled pork burrito; the aroma of the oven seeps into the tortilla, and biting into it reveals tender pork fibers with a subtle yet complex flavor profile. The Middle Eastern fava bean pancake salad plate offers a refreshing and crispy texture, with the pancake being crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, paired with fresh salad for a palate-cleansing effect.
