The first time I came to Taitung, the two most well-known fried chicken fast food places were Blue Dragonfly and A-Hong. At that time, I decided not to hesitate and tried both to compare directly. I think A-Hong is a clear winner!!! Additionally, Blue Dragonfly requires a long wait on weekends, so the overall cost-performance ratio is quite low.
Among their menu items, the chicken leg is the most delicious. The original juice of the leg is completely enveloped by the crispy skin, so the first bite is very juicy😛 The skin is made from traditional Taiwanese sweet potato flour, not American tapioca flour, so it brings back a lot of childhood memories.
In the past, before they opened branch stores, you had to rush to Taitung's city center, where parking was really difficult due to heavy traffic. So if someone wants to eat at A-Hong, I recommend going to this branch—it's easier to park, and the dining space is large, making it very suitable for groups.
