🍠 Only this bowl in summer! Taro puree mixed ice $85, with taro balls and taro sauce making a double appearance, and then you can choose three toppings. I picked taro, pearls, and brown sugar jelly. The overall experience is really a step above the typical Taiwanese shaved ice—it's finely textured, fragrant syrup, and you can even add extra ice, brown sugar, and condensed milk for free. It feels very generous! 🧊
🥄 The taro balls have a nice chewiness, and the taro sauce is smooth and creamy. Paired with the shop's homemade brown sugar syrup, it really hits the spot—the taro is truly strong! It's fluffy yet light, not mushy or hard, retaining its texture and aroma. It's the best way I've had taro recently! 💜 The pearls are also well-cooked, and the brown sugar jelly is an added bonus—chewy yet soft, with a unique twist.
👭 A bowl is just right for two people, but I could easily finish it alone (laughs). It's one of my must-visit favorites in the summer, and every time I eat here, I feel it’s worth it. 🥹
🥛 I also ordered a bowl of grass jelly with taro balls for $50. The grass jelly is smooth, and the milk flavor is not too heavy—it’s refreshing. After finishing the ice, this is a perfect way to end the meal. ✨
