Taipei Neihu - A cozy and clean Taiwanese restaurant, the braised pork knuckle is super big and delicious!
📍 Braised Pork Knuckle Set NT$170
🌕🌕🌕🌕🌖
When the dish was served, I was completely amazed and thought, "Is this pork knuckle too big? ❤️" I initially thought it would be the kind with just the bottom portion, but it turned out to have both lean and fatty meat.
The pork knuckle is braised with star anise and Sichuan pepper, giving it a richly layered flavor that isn’t too salty, and the hairs are plucked super clean! I love it!
The side dishes include half a fried egg, cabbage, tofu, and braised potatoes, all of which are delicious, though some sides are a bit oily.
It comes with a bowl of soup, which is also hearty, but a bit oily too.
