Kaohsiung's old-school wagyu barbecue restaurant has always been on my must-visit list. It specializes in premium wagyu ingredients but the prices are quite reasonable, ranging from NT$1580 for a two-person meal to NT$3280. Moreover, it’s a pet-friendly restaurant where pets are not only allowed in the seating area but also have their own food options – how considerate of the owners!

This time, we chose the premium special for NT$2280, which includes M9 wagyu chuck, boneless short ribs, and thick-cut grain-fed steak. These cuts of wagyu are not overly greasy and are super delicious when paired with the accompanying butter truffle and diced onions. You can really taste the aroma and the thickness of the wagyu; I highly recommend this set meal.

I suggest upgrading to the wagyu tallow egg rice, drizzled with wagyu fat and served with a raw egg. It’s incredibly fragrant and makes you want to take bite after bite. The dessert is also thoughtfully prepared by the restaurant and served warm at your table. After finishing the main course, the servers will clear your table, allowing you to leisurely enjoy the final dessert while happily chatting with friends and family throughout the night.

Take a photo of your food with the Fooca camera, and write a genuine dining review to earn extra income. Every meal comes with a reward!
