Hua Da Milk Tea is my favorite drink shop in Kaohsiung, and I jokingly refer to it as Kaohsiung's water with my friends from Kaohsiung. I have tried many branches and was surprised to find that most of the reviews on Google seem to be quite negative. However, in my actual experience, every shop maintains a generally stable flavor and consistently good quality. So whenever I go to Kaohsiung, I usually get a cup. Today, I came to the Huada Milk Tea store at Zuoying Train Station! Let's get a cup!
My previous favorite was Yi Shou Milk Tea, but now the menu has changed to the unified Hua Da Milk Tea, with options for sweetness. The three-sugar Hua Da Milk Tea is essentially the same as the former Yi Shou Milk Tea. It’s sweet but not overwhelming, and it has a great balance of tea and milk flavor! By the way, you can get a discount of 5 yuan if you bring your own cup.
There's a very long line at the Zuoying store, but this time I have to say that the service staff's attitude is really poor, which can be quite off-putting. Even someone like me, who loves Hua Da Milk Tea, feels a bit unhappy about it. No wonder this shop only has a two-star rating on Google reviews.
