❤️ A hidden sesame oil chicken shop located in the land of the mudfish king has always been my favorite place. Today, I’m excited to share it with everyone~
Every post will include actual dining photos, so even if it's just a photo of a drink, this is to prevent some users from faking dining experiences by not attaching photos of the dishes.

📍 This spot is on Bo’ai Street in the Shulin Night Market, with many seating options available but no restroom facilities.
🚗 If driving, it's recommended to park at Yongqi Parking Lot at the entrance of Shulin Night Market (20 NTD per hour), which takes about 3 minutes to walk to.
🏍️ Motorcycles can park at the motorcycle parking lot in Yongqi Parking Lot (free).
💬 I accidentally discovered this shop a few years ago; it is definitely not a restaurant that I stumbled upon by mistake. One winter day, I wanted sesame oil chicken but didn’t want to travel all the way to Nanjiung for Ah Nan's (where you have to line up for ages). I was originally heading to another sesame oil chicken rice shop on Bo’ai Street but stumbled upon this shop instead.
The dining area shares space with the land of the mudfish king, but I never have to wait when I come in; I can always sit down right away and wait for my food. The owner's wife is also quick to get the orders ready.
For dining in, you place your order first without needing to pay upfront. Today, they happened to be out of chicken legs, so I ordered chicken nuggets (I personally prefer the super large chicken legs, which are definitely bigger than Ah Nan's). I also recommend ordering the mixed option (which includes cabbage, shiitake mushrooms, blood rice, and meatballs).
However, the sesame oil chicken here has a stronger wine flavor. I feel that if you drink too much, it might lead to drunk driving, so I didn't dare to ask the owner for more soup.
