Following the ancient method passed down through three generations~ It's been a long time since I've had the large and small pancakes from Shilin's specialties. There’s still a line, but it seems that business is so good in front that there aren't enough large pancakes cooked fresh, so we waited a bit. Otherwise, the food comes out quite quickly, with a variety of flavors to choose from, both savory and sweet.
I chose the fresh red bean paste, and since there weren't enough large pancakes, it was freshly cooked. The outer layer of the large pancake is similar to a spring roll wrapper, hot and soft in texture, complemented by the crispy small pancake inside and a hint of red bean paste. The unique texture and nostalgic flavor are definitely worth a try.
