Located on the outskirts of Shilin Night Market, since my friend recommended this place to me, I have come by every time I visit Shilin Night Market to see if it's open (I've heard it's not easy to get?). But I almost always find it open.
▪️Sweet Peanut $40
The large pancake wrapped around the small pancake is actually just a spring roll skin wrapping around fried cookies with added fillings. I always choose the sweet one; I've never tried the savory version. The texture is very crispy, and the peanuts are very fragrant. You should eat it quickly because the spring roll skin can sometimes be slightly warm, and if left out too long or if the bag isn’t ventilated, it will make the cookies soggy.
Overall, it’s a very indulgent little snack, and I would like to try the savory version later to see what the difference is.
