On a holiday, the restaurants in the Xintian Financial District are packed with people. Except for this sushi place, I already felt a bit uneasy inside, but I didn't want to wait; I just wanted to fill my stomach first.
I sat down and brewed my own green tea. I have to say, the water used in this restaurant is really, really hot; one careless move could result in a burn.
Although it's conveyor belt sushi, nowadays most orders are placed online, and then the staff brings the dishes to you. I ordered a few plates, and to be honest, I was quite disappointed. The rice lacked the flavor of sushi, and the ingredients didn't really have any freshness.
Overall, I wouldn't say it was inedible, but sushi isn't cheap to begin with, and I probably won't come back again.
